The Problem facing kids today is too much anxiety, too much loss, and too little hope.
-
At-Risk Kids can grow up without the HOPE of family or healing, making them feel angry and helpless.
-
Even after a crisis, they need support for 3-5 Years.
-
Nearly 13,000 children are in Georgia’s foster care system alone
-
Every Child and family situation is unique and needs individual support.
OUR MODEL: From our inception, Ignite Hope has sought to bring rehabilitative and restorative services and support to kids in crisis and the families who are helping them to heal. We employ a three-pronged process that we’ve spent 10 years refining - A.R.E. - Advocate, Resource and Empower pre-born to permanency. Ignite Hope has created a Digital Training Series that will empower organizations, churches, and individuals to learn how to break generational bondage and find Hope through Strategic Prayer!
OUR GOAL: To onboard the Church into the space of child welfare, and to empower families and organizations who care for Kids in Crisis with truth and strategies that will allow the caregivers to Champion these Children as they heal, bond, attach, and transition. We offer family coaching, organization training & Biblically-based resources to equip families, parents, ministry leaders, and caregivers for the battle. We advocate at the local, state, and national levels working toward sound policy and protective legislation.
OUR KEY DISTINCTIONS: We honor the adoptive/fostering family, the first family and those caring for Kids in Crisis, by helping them develop a Battle Plan to bring hope and healing necessary to thrive. We give them language that honors the child’s first family while establishing spiritual wrap-around to support those on the frontline. We offer in person events, digital resources, trainings and talks, and host a tangible needs space for families by referral. Each year we provide resources at at a critical time for families. At the beginning of the school year we have our Back to school Bash to give back packs and school supplies to families in need. At Christmas we provide food, gifts and a visit with Santa for families in need.
