This Resource is a  a boutique space on the   NorthWest Christian Church Campus to house  tangible needs for foster/ adoptive families or families in crisis.

Donate Items

Items do not have to be brand new but they should fit the description of “Gently Used.” Donated items should be clean and ready to set out for “shopping. “

Volunteer

We need Volunteers to help staff the space to while open.  If you would like to help out sign up below.

Donate Funds

Sometimes there immediate needs for items that have not been donated like car seats and cribs if you would like to donate to this Emergency Fund  Click the link below.

Most Urgent Needs

The following items are in shortest supply and thus are most currently needed: 

  • Socks/underwear/pajamas/swimwear (especially larger child/ teen sizes)

  • Foundations such as jog bras

  •  Diapers/wipes/diaper rash cream (All sizes Preemies - through size 6 pull ups)

  •  Bottles/Pacifiers

  • Tooth brushes/toiletries

  •  Formula/food/gift cards

  • Furniture for nursery (bassinets, changing tables)

  • Baby equipment (high hairs, strollers, pack & plays)

  • Toys

New Items

Some items, such as kids underwear and socks must be brand new. Items required to be brand new will be designated as such on the lists that follow.

Gently Used

Most donated items do not have to be brand new but they should fit the description of “Gently Used.” Donated items should be clean and ready to set out for “shopping. “

  • Furniture for children’s room (twin beds, kid’s dressers, chest of drawers, bedside tables, mattresses, bedding…etc)

  • Furniture for nursery (cribs, bassinets, changing table…etc)

  • Baby equipment (high hairs, strollers, pack & plays…etc)

  • Unexpired car seats/boosters

  • Clothing, Shoes, Coats &  Jackets

  • Toys

  • Luggage, duffle bags, backpacks, lunch boxes

  • Books/Bibles

Damage and Missing Parts

Mattresses, box springs, and other fabric furniture such as sofas and chairs must be free of stains, water damage or mold, and other physical damage, cannot show rips or tears, and should be free of excessive wear and odors. Please be mindful of cloth-items that have been around pets - due to allergies. We cannot accept furniture items that are not standard for nurseries and kid’s rooms 

 

Missing Parts: Bed frames should include, if possible, all parts and hardware needed for assembly. Any loose hardware can be delivered in a zip lock bag and identified as to what piece of furniture the baggie belongs to. If all parts cannot be provided, please inform Ignite Hope of items missing before delivery is arranged. Ignite Hope will assess the effort required to obtain missing parts prior to accepting the item.

Items we cannot accept

  • Sofas, loveseats, reclining or sleeper sofas

  • Futons

  • Armoires/entertainment centers

  • TVs

  • Headboard/footboard without its side rails

  • Side rails for a bed frame without the headboard and footboard

  • China/curio cabinets

  • Rugs/carpets

  • Office furniture such as filing cabinets and executive desks

  • Refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, washers/dryers

  • Any furniture item that is overly large in size
